A non-religious person indulging in world of spirits, souls’ atmans was spiritual! Spirituality was distinct from religion. If we desire traveling inner journey towards our true self existing in our heart as our soul atman… our indulgence in spirituality, path of yoga meditation was necessitated. To gain emancipation from cycle of birth and death, to reach stage of enlightenment… path of spirituality as detailed in Bhagavad Gita was an absolute must.
The world of souls atmans directly relate to God Almighty. As per Bhagavad Gita we were primarily a spirit, a soul atman on its cosmic life cycle of 8.4 million manifestations. A soul atman manifests human form to cleanse self of dross impurities within… reach stage of absolute purity forever. A pure soul need not manifest a human body again. The cosmic journey of life finally comes to an end.
