The first book (given to me by my uncle) outside of my school syllabus was “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. He inadvertently gave it to me with a remark that it could make my life. I was confused because on his own life he did not follow any of the principles laid in book.
Still, I read the book many times. Inherently I wanted to make it rich… I imagined myself as the richest of all! I was around 15 years of age at that time. Something in this book was so alarming that I reread this book several times after gap of many months and one day the inner meaning finally dawned on me.
My goal of life since six years of age was reaching god still, I indulged in “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill as it helped me affirm my goal in life. It also helped me transmute sexual energy towards the only goal of life… called Brahmacharya Vrata (practice of celibacy) in Hinduism.
Having a definite goal in life and mastering art of celibacy I proceeded in my spiritual pursuit of life. 37 years of age in the wee hours of third of August 1993 I finally reached God, realized God! This is my last manifestation on mother earth. Nowhere else to go further I shall attain moksha salvation moment I leave my mortal body.
Other than Lord Krishna I believed in principles of life laid in “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.
Not in terms of tangible riches but in the abstract domain I finally reached my true inner self… became a pure soul atman in the cosmic journey of life!
Another book by Napoleon Hill “Law of Success” is a masterpiece of which I always had three copies… one on my office table, one by my bedside and the third in my travel bag.
