Religion evolved from root word religare… to bond, to keep the flock of like-minded human beings bonded together! The cause for religious followers of different religions to fight each other should not exist but so-called religious pundits owing to their vested interests made it so. Only to appease their bloated ego, they incited followers to indulge in bloodbath, fierce fighting with followers of other religions irrespective of what the result would be!
Religion in present times is ruled by fanatics, extremists… people with political inclinations… the prime reason for all dismay, anxiety… heartburning!
But one thing in field of religion is absolutely clear. We were born in a religion but it was following path of spirituality as detailed in Bhagavad Gita human beings reached God in their lifetime. We could never reach God via path of religion (path of rituals). Born in Jainism religion, all my life from six years of age I followed precepts of spirituality as detailed by Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita.
