All holy books primarily contained same message that God Almighty was one. Christians called it water, Muslims Pani and Hindus jala. The content of all was the same. The teachings of all enlightened ones could vary but not the end goal. As all preceptors gained enlightenment in their lifetime, reached the same source from where they started their initial journey… how could their teachings be different?
As many human beings as many different paths to God Almighty can there be. The experiences of spiritual path may vary from person to person but the end goal of life always remains the same.
If I desire going from Delhi to Mumbai, I would go as per my pocket and convenience. Mahavira takes a flight and reaches Mumbai. Gautama Buddha takes a superfast train and reaches Mumbai. Jesus Christ takes a passenger train and reaches Mumbai. Prophet Mohammed takes a road transport and reaches Mumbai. All reached their goal of life but via different paths.
The essence of spiritual life always lay in reaching end goal of life, never the intermediary. All holy books of different religions of world may express different paths to God Almighty but the end goal of life in all these holy books always remains the same.
