Mankind was destined to pass through 1.1 million manifestations in human form… only then one reaches stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally moksha salvation. Presently we do not know at what karmic index between 7,300,001 and 8,400,000 we stood. We as a soul atman manifest human form for the first time after passing 7.3 million manifestations in insect, plant and animal life.
We keep rotating endlessly in the cycle of birth and death until we reached 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed put a full stop to this endless cycle of birth and death… gaining enlightenment and finally moksha salvation in their lifetime. So did Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana.
The moment we reached 8.4 millionth manifestation, devoid of dross impurities within… having become a pure soul atman… need to manifest another body cease to exist! The liberated soul atman finally enters kingdom of God (Vaikuntha in Hinduism), a point of no return.
