There is no point teaching anything relating to Ramayana in schools. Teachings of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita sufficed for humanity to reach stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation.
One just could not gain enlightenment following teachings contained in Bible and Koran. Enlightenment can be gained following path of spirituality never religion.
