As detailed in scriptures of Hinduism primarily Upanishads (independent treatises), life evolved in cosmic system no sooner life supporting planets like mother earth evolved. Ever since souls atmans separated from their source God Almighty himself (Brahman in Hinduism) they got mired in impurities. To cleanse self of dross impurities within, they needed life supporting planets like mother earth. No sooner planets like mother earth evolved, souls’ atmans immediately started manifesting life to start a new journey of life. The first manifestation by a soul atman was form of amoeba (single cell formation). It further evolves into multi-cell formation, insect life, plant life, animal life and finally human form.
All human beings directly evolved from stage of animals.
