There were two facets to present human life. After death of present body our soul atman manifests a new body based on residual balance of karma at the time of death. Only if matching parents are not available on mother earth the soul atman hibernates in heaven or hell (swarga or naraka). Sooner matching parents become available; the hibernating soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start a new cycle of life. This circle of birth and death continues until we reached 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle… the moment souls’ atmans gained absolute purity forever.
In present life if we desire getting free from cycle of birth and death forever, our undertaking spiritual journey was mandated by God. Travelling spiritual path simply means travelling path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) to assimilate, unveil hidden underlying cosmic truths of life contained in sacred scriptures of Hinduism. Only by travelling path of jnana yoga could we negate our karma to zero. In the present times of Kali Yuga… Dark Age, metal age path of bhakti yoga (total surrender to God Almighty) did not work out. Path of jnana yoga was the only recourse in present times.
Path of religion (path of rituals) never led one to God Almighty. Going to temples, churches and mosques carried no meaning in the world of souls’ atmans.
Right from six years of age I somehow realized that spirituality was distinct from religion. I developed total aversion to going to Jain temple to pray to God. When God did not exist in temples, why must I go there? I became a recluse in the house. All the time contemplating, indulging in self enquiry, logical reasoning became my habit. At 13 years of age I finally decided to go in search of God with full thrust. 25 years of yoga meditation I finally reached end of cosmic journey, 8.4 millionth manifestation. I finally realized self, realized god. Nothing to gain further, nowhere else to go moment I leave my mortal frame I shall attain salvation moksha forever.
I wanted to free myself from bondage of birth and death and finally succeeded by travelling spiritual path.
