Even though a developing nation but spiritually India was a fully developed nation, the citadel of spiritual world! Most of the money inflow in present times came from software engineers spread all over the world. United States of America is superpower number one not only in paper but in deeds. Following the election trend was normal for situation worldwide was not very healthy. Mankind was extremely disturbed on account of terrorist activities world over. It is the might of United States of America that violence in Iraq and Afghanistan is controlled to a limited extent.
The present election in United States of America was very dicey. Both candidates could lead world into world war 3. If Indian news channels were slightly obsessed, it was partly due to their desire to bell the cat, milk the cow. The news channels reporting in India as of today is at its worst. It was nothing but advertising all over. News reporting was only a byline, rest was all advertising. As one who takes a serious interest in world politics, I am at times glued to my TV for the outcome. I only watch CNN and BBC. Never, good for nothing Indian news channels!
