The spiritual connection amongst human beings was not common, not possible! The most seekers, travelers of spiritual path could do was indulge in Satsanga (spiritual discussion) to arrive at a solution.
Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says all souls’ atmans on mother earth were independent of each other. As we were primarily a spirit, a spiritual being manifesting human form… interaction with others had no meaning. We were expected to indulge in contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning to unveil hidden cosmic truths of life contained in scriptures of different religions of world.
For indulging in contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning… we do not need help of others! Spiritual journey was an inward journey towards soul atman, consciousness existing in our heart. We could undertake inner journey only by practicing 100% truthfulness in all walks of life. Here also interaction with others was not necessitated.
