Spirituality forms core of Hinduism religion. As per Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita God was one and only one termed Brahman in Hinduism… rest all were attributes of God, hordes of gods and goddesses! As per Lord Krishna we must offer all prayers, worship directly to Brahman and never various gods and goddesses!
On path of pure spirituality… to reach stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation… indulgence in teachings of spirituality, yoga meditation contained in Bhagavad Gita were necessitated! Religious practices, indulgence in rituals carried no meaning on path of pure spirituality. One never reaches God indulging in bhakti yoga alone.
