Brahman God Almighty and Lord Krishna

We should be praying to Brahman (God Almighty) instead of Lord Srikrishna. But can we do that? For commoners, masses it was just not possible to conceptualize God Almighty (Brahman in Hinduism) in Nirakaar form (having no form). To solve this predicament various sages and saints of yesteryears evolved different forms of gods and goddesses so that mankind at large could pray to God. Commoners, masses can pray to God only in Sakaar form (having a form), the reason behind various attributes of God.

Lord Krishna is considered an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form). As masses could not visualize the entity we called Brahman, people indulged in worshipping Lord Srikrishna more than Brahman himself. They were not wrong. In Jainism also the first prayer, worship is offered to Arihanta (enlightened one) and then to Siddha (one who reached stage of moksha salvation). Unless an Arihanta percolated messages from a Siddha to masses, none would have realized the cosmic entity of life.

Even though an Arihanta becomes a medium between Siddha and masses, his value for mankind was more than a Siddha. Similar is the case with Lord Krishna. As masses could not visualize, conceptualize Brahman in all its glory, they gave more importance to his manifest form Lord Krishna. It was Lord Krishna who preached messages from God in form of sermon given by him to Arjuna in the battle of Mahabharata. Bhagavad Gita contains complete essence of path of spirituality necessary to reach God in present life.

After travelling path of yoga meditation for 25 years I finally reached God in the wee hours of third of August 1993 at 37 years of age. For me importance of Lord Krishna compared to any other thing in this world was absolute… 100%. To reach Brahman in all its glory I had to take shelter of Lord Krishna in all stages of life. In absence of 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita I would have never realized self in present life. Travelling path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) was an absolute must to reach God.

To sum up, it is only through teachings of Lord Krishna we reached God Almighty (Brahman in Hinduism).
