All souls atmans existing in cosmos were indestructible, could neither be created nor destroyed! It is not the human form that manifested a soul atman. The vice versa was true. To cleanse self of dross impurities within, we as a soul atman manifest human form to work out our karma, remove dross impurities within! At the time of death of human body, the released soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start new journey of life. The life of human body was limited to present earthly domain whereas a soul atman in its entire lifespan undergoes a total of 8.4 million manifestations before it finally emancipates forever from cycle of birth and death… becomes a pure soul atman!
