The hidden message was… all souls atmans relating to mother earth existed in sun. Our sun acts as a relay station for God Almighty. All souls’ atmans manifest life on mother earth even though remaining in sun. Sun was like a home for all souls atmans.
When Lord Krishna manifest on mother earth, the sermon of Bhagavad Gita was revealed to mankind. But before that everything detailed in Bhagavad Gita are already existed in sun because all souls atmans resided there. All revealed messages were conveyed to mother earth through medium of sun hence our sun becomes a parental figure for all souls’ atmans existing in sun.
