The most scientific religious text in world from times immemorial was sermon of Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata between Kauravas and Pandavas. Right from stage of big bang (a scientific precept) to stage of dissolution of cosmos (Pralaya in Hinduism), again a scientific phenomenon… all was explicitly detailed in Bhagavad Gita to the minutest detail.
The saying of J. Robert Oppenheimer (man who created atomic bomb), “Now I am become death, destroyer of worlds” was based on Bhagavad Gita. Apart from J. Robert Oppenheimer, famous physicist Albert Einstein also indulged in Bhagavad Gita but only in the later stages of life. He regretted the fact that he could not indulge in Bhagavad Gita when young!
Though nothing in Bhagavad Gita was acceptable to scientists’ world over as science demands proofs that are not forthcoming in the field of pure spirituality, whatever is stated in Bhagavad Gita practically came from mouth of God. Scientists even in present deliberated upon concept of singularity that was still unexplainable. Bhagavad Gita and allied Upanishads (independent treatises) state that singularity in the beginning of cosmos was God Almighty himself (Brahman in Hinduism) in all its glory.
As detailed in scriptures of Hinduism the present cosmos came into being when God Almighty exploded self with a big bang. As per scriptures of Hinduism the size of singularity was size of half a thumb.
Though Bhagavad Gita was part of Hinduism religion but it was purely a spiritual document that led human beings towards God Almighty. Hinduism religion has vast paraphernalia of sacred texts consisting of Vedas (Hinduism revelations), Upanishads (independent treatises), the sacred Bhagavad Gita, Puranas, Itihasas, Agamas and Darshanas! Some texts dealt with rituals others with path of pure spirituality.
