Are we, the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle supposed to see the past! Can we indulge in past even if we want to? What if I come to know that my best friend in present life would be the cause of my death in present life due to bad karma indulged in previous manifestation!
My best friend in present life was unknowingly killed by me in last manifestation and to seek revenge he was born in present manifestation as my best friend. As ordained by God, none could see back or review the past. Our present life was based on residual balance of karma of previous manifestation. At the time of death the residual balance of karma becomes the opening balance for next manifestation.
If at the time of death in previous life, residual balance of karma demands our taking birth as a laborer in present life, we just could not be born a Prince! As we cannot undo the past, we could still neutralize negative residual balance of karma from previous manifestations by indulging in good karma, positive karma in present life. Karma was the controlling factor of all forms of life in entire cosmos.
