The measure of time on mother earth was a creation of mankind. The measure of time was necessitated to regulate our day-to-day working. The time taken by earth to go around sun was termed as one year. The time taken by Moon to circle earth was about 28 days and not exactly one month.
For different species in cosmos on other inhabited planets, the measure of time may be different. For one like Lord Krishna or even an enlightened one, time sometimes stops. What a normal human being completed in years, an enlightened one or Lord Krishna could accomplish in few hours.
