Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says the highest Yogi of all was one who could indulge in spirituality even while living in Grihastha ashram (married life). Everything contained in Bhagavad Gita was truth and only truth. In the present scientific age one need not go to confines of deep dense forests, Himalayas in search of God… to indulge in contemplation! Even while remaining in home, or wherever we were… we could indulge in contemplation, path of spirituality to reach God in present life!
15 years of age when I asked my mother permission to leave confines of home to go in search of God… she only said, over my dead body! Since then it was never looking back. Further 16 years indulgence in path of contemplation… yoga meditation I finally reached God in the wee hours of third of August 1993 37 years of age. We just could not repeat the mistake indulged by Siddhartha Gautama. Touching feet of wife and child does not absolve self of karma. We need burning our karma in totality to reach God.
