Our Brain Works as Receiving and Transmitting Station

When we switch on a TV we can display any number of channels. All the programs are relayed from different stations yet we can see them all in one place. Similarly our brain works as receiving and transmitting station. Every second thousands of thoughts flowed through our brain; we had absolutely no control over incessant flow of these thoughts. It is these thoughts that precipitate into different opinions simultaneously. Though thoughts are invoked by our brain but consciousness that invokes these thoughts existed in our heart as our soul atman, the spirit within.

As detailed in Bhagavad Gita we were primarily a spiritual being manifesting human body. The control of human life lay in our heart. Our soul atman was the actual master and controller of human life. It is presence of ego that makes a human being think that we were the actual master and controller.
