Based on residual balance of karma at the time of death, our soul atman manifests a new body to start a new journey of life. If the residual balance of karma demands our soul atman manifesting form of a laborer in next life, one just could not be born a Prince! This proves that karma was the governing factor of cosmic life.
Our taking birth in a rich family or poor, our experiencing happiness or suffering at the hands of fate most of time… all resulted from residual balance of karma of that moment. By molding our karma in present life we could improve our present and future.
