For a very highly evolved spiritual person it was very easy to assess other people. It was not exactly judgement or compassion; it was as if a movie screen was passing through. We were only aware not wanting to interfere. A highly evolved spiritual person can always impose self on others mentally but would never do it. A true spiritual person always works for welfare of mankind all the time.
An evolved spiritual person can read through brains of all lower in rank.
