Sitting in our house can we climb Mount Everest? No external medium could help us gain enlightenment in present life. To reach within, to realize our existence as a soul atman, the consciousness within… our traveling path of pure spirituality, indulgence in jnana yoga, practice of absolute celibacy, indulgence in nishkama karma yoga was necessitated. 100% faith in God, practicing 100% truthfulness was an absolute must. Only then we could demolish dross impurities existing within our soul atman.
A soul atman reaching stage of absolute purity announces our spiritual awakening forever. By the word spiritual awakening we mean realizing our true nature, our true self that exists in our heart as our consciousness. This becomes possible when we succeed in negating karma to zero.
