Karma was inherent ingredient of cosmic system based on which life moved ahead in cosmic life cycle. No sooner life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system, karma took over! Right from first manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) to multi-cell formation, insect life, plant life, animal life… karma was governing. Based on residual balance of karma at the time of death, a soul atman keeps manifesting form after another. And finally evolved human beings directly from animal stage! The moment karma negates to zero, one gained enlightenment forever.
