Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says, one who could travel path of spirituality while in Grihastha ashram (family life) was the biggest Yogi of all. In present times we need not become a mendicant, recluse and go too deep dense jungles (forests) to contemplate on God. We could achieve everything on path of pure spirituality even while remaining in confines of home.
When 15 years of age I asked my mother permission for going to Himalayas in search of God! She only said, over my dead body. Thereafter it was never looking back. I wholeheartedly indulged in spirituality even while indulging in daily routines of life. In the wee hours of third of August 1993 37 years of age I finally realized God forever.
People who look forward to yoga meditation retreats were mistaken. Why go to a commercial centre for something that demands indulging in contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning most of time. If we desire assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads… our following path of contemplation was an absolute must. That was how we indulged in yoga meditation all the time.
