Amongst all five Pandavas only Arjuna was competent to travel path of spirituality and reach stage of enlightenment. Even though Yudhisthira was embodiment of Dharma (righteousness) but overall Arjuna was more competent!
Teachings of Bhagavad Gita, the sermon of Bhagavad Gita could only be assimilated by one who had overpowered five senses and mind. Apart from being truthful, Arjuna was a dutiful warrior who cared for his kingdom. As contents of Bhagavad Gita could not be understood literally, it demands a traveler of spiritual path who could successfully awaken kundalini fully by indulging in 12 years practice of absolute celibacy. Amongst all Pandavas and Kauravas only Arjuna was competent to decipher what Lord Krishna had to say.
