The sin committed when killing intentionally was greater than an unintended one! Here the doctrine of Bhava karma of Jainism comes into play. As per theory of Bhava karma every single thought positive or negative precipitates into an act of karma. Even though our indulgence was unintentional, but the sin was committed and we shall suffer the consequences may be much lesser compared to act committed intentionally.
