That was not how Hinduism looks at spirituality. As per laws of karma… every single human being on mother earth has to absolve self from bondages of karma. None other can interfere in our karma. Karma has to be burnt in totality from within.
In Hinduism we do not indulge in scriptures literally, prime reason why not in hundreds but thousands gained enlightenment in the entire history of mankind. Christianity evolved from following of Jesus Christ, the enlightened one!
