The greatest teaching of Hinduism lay in Bhagavad Gita, the sermon given to mankind (Arjuna) by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata!
Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says we were primarily a spirit, spiritual being on its cosmic life cycle of 8.4 million manifestations that entailed an earthly journey of approximately 96.4 million years. We as a soul atman manifest human form to reach stage of absolute purity. This happened when human beings indulging in spirituality, yoga meditation finally reached stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation!
The physical manifest life was only a medium for soul atman to reduce dross impurities within. If we indulged in material pursuits of life, the life of soul atman becomes stagnant for that period. The moment we indulged in spirituality, it was the most pleasurable moment for soul atman within. As a human being endowed with free will, power of discrimination… it was for us to choose our goal of life.
We could either pass phase of physical manifest life doing nothing from spirituality point of view or directly indulge in spirituality to reach God in our lifetime.
Around nine years of age I finally decided not to endlessly rotate in the cycle of birth and death forever. About 28 years of indulgence in spirituality, yoga meditation I finally succeeded in reaching God in 1993 37 years of age! This is my last manifestation on mother earth, 8.4 millionth manifestation!
Following path of contemplation I indulged in yoga meditation all the time and finally reached God.
Hinduism scriptures primarily Bhagavad Gita led mankind to stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation!
