The choice of choosing next life never lay in our domain. All was dependent on inscrutable laws of karma. As the residual balance of karma at the time of death of body, accordingly soul atman manifests a new body. If the residual balance of karma demands one taking birth in the house of a laborer, one just could not be born a Prince. If we desire improving our future, we must improve our karma from negative to positive. If we desire manifesting destiny, we have to indulge in positive karma most of time.
Karma is the controlling ingredient of cosmic life. Whatever the residual balance of karma at the time of death passes to next life! Cosmic life moves like the balance sheet of an accountant. The closing balance of present life becomes the opening balance for next manifestation.
This issue of manifesting life after another greatly disturbed me at nine years of age. I finally decided to end the matter once and for all. I went in search of God wholeheartedly. By negating my karma to zero I was able to reach stage of absolute purity as a soul atman. This is my last manifestation on mother earth, 8.4 millionth manifestation… last in cosmic life cycle. Nowhere else to go further, moment I leave my mortal frame… I shall attain moksha salvation.
I was finally able to end the cosmic journey forever. No dross impurities contained within, the need for pure soul atman to manifest another body now ceases to exist. For me the cycle of birth and death has finally ended. I have realized God in all its glory.
