Precepts of Spirituality Hinduism Scriptures Do not Believe in Existence of Ghosts

Precepts of spirituality contained in Hinduism scriptures do not believe in presence of ghosts. In the world of souls’ atmans, existence of a ghost was totally ruled out. The soul atman either manifests a body on mother earth or hibernates in heaven or hell. There was nothing in between. After death of human body the released soul atman immediately manifests a new body based on residual balance of karma at the time of death. If matching parents were not available on mother earth, the soul atman hibernates in heaven or hell. No sooner matching parents become available on mother earth, the hibernating soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start new journey of life.

Ghosts in Hinduism can be part of Hindu mythology but never spirituality, domain of souls’ atmans.
