As an adhyatmik sadhaka, what was our status in the eyes of Brahm ? Are we the owner of anything in this world ? As clearly stated by Bhagwan Krishna in bhagavad gita, everything in this world belong to Brahm! This also means our human form was manifested by a super consciousness we called Atman. As a human being we need to abide by the wishes of our Atman, that resides in the core of sun! It is from here every Atman governs the activities of the manifested human body.
The goal of every human being on mother Earth is one and only one – to gain emancipation from the cycle of birth and death at the earliest. In its lifecycle of maximum 8.4 million bodies manifested by an Atman, 1.1 million manifestations exist only in the human form. In these 1.1 million manifestations every human being is expected to travel path of adhyatma and finally gain release from the cycle of birth and death forever. In present life we may or may not like to undertake adhyatmik journey as we have a total of 1.1 million manifestations, but ultimately we will have to do that.
When five years of age I escaped near death by a whisker. At this young age I had my first interaction with Brahm. The more I thought about life and our relationship with Brahm, I slowly realized that as a human form we shall continue rotating in the cycle of birth and death unless we reached 8.4 millionth manifestation. Talking to elders in the family and outside I realized that living a normal life was meaningless. The essence of life always lay in our undertaking adhyatmik journey and reaching state of moksha, that is liberation from cycle of birth and death forever.
But how to go about it was the biggest question ? From five years of age, I took almost 2 years to finalize how I was to spend this life. I gave notice to all elders in the family including my grandfather, my mother that I would go after Brahm in this very life. All elders must have thought of it as a joke coming from a child. But I was serious, very serious. When seven years of age I again had a direct interaction with Brahm as I wanted to know the path following which I could reach him. I told him that I wanted to go after him, know him.
Brahm categorically asked me if I was serious. I said yes because I did not want to rotate myself in the endless cycles of birth and death. Thereafter I continued thinking about Brahm but also had to attend my school, take care of studies. When around eight years of age, all of a sudden I had an interaction with Brahm. He asked point-blank, what happened, you had planned to come after me! I said yes, My goal of life is fixed and I shall come after you in this very life. He only said take your time but not indefinitely and I got busy with my schooling.
When 8 1/2 years of age, it was early morning of a Sunday. And God asked for my final decision. I said, just give me one day – flat 24 hours, no more. Next day when Brahm came I was ready. Even before he could say anything, I blurted out yes, yes and yes! It was then Brahm told me if I had understood the meaning of coming after Brahm clearly. He said by doing so I would become free from rotating in the endless cycles of birth and death forever. I said I knew this. My answer is final! None in this world can change it now, not even you!
And thus started my search of Brahm in this very life. My goal of life when young was never gaining moksha. I only wanted to reach Brahm in this very life. If by reaching Brahm, I was granted moksha by Brahm, it is up to him! From five years of age I was never after fruits of karma performed.
For a commoner my advice is, either we undertake adhyatmik journey in present life and try reaching Brahm! Or leave everything for the next manifestation, next body undertaken by our Atman. We must always remember, we have only one life to live, the present earthly domain! The next manifestation will be undertaken by our Atman and not we, the human body! Who knows if we are born a girl in next manifestation in Europe. Then can we be expected to undertake adhyatmik journey in next manifestation? It is ruled out 100%! Adhyatmik journey can only be pursued by one who is born in Bharat, the place of Sanatana Dharma!
