We as a soul atman came into being when God Almighty exploded self with a big bang. Moment life supporting planets like mother earth evolved, we as a soul atman started manifesting life on mother earth. After crossing 7.3 million manifestations in insect, plant and animal life we finally manifested human form. Human form is the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle
After death of human form, the released soul atman again manifests a new body to start a new cycle of life. This cycle of birth and death continues until human beings gained enlightenment in their lifetime. When karma negates to zero, a soul atman reaches stage of absolute purity. For a pure soul atman need to manifest a body any further ceases to exist.
After an enlightened one leaves mortal frame, the liberated soul atman finally enters abode of God (kingdom of God, Vaikuntha in Hinduism).
