The greatest gift of God to mankind was presence of free will, exercising which human beings finally reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation moksha to free self from cycle of birth and death forever.
Nothing, not even God Almighty interfered in working of those who exercised their free will.
