At any given moment of life we heard two voices… voice of our true inner self existing in our heart as our soul atman, the consciousness. The other was promted by our ego. Human beings indulged in day-to-day affairs of life prompted by voice of their ego. Those indulging in spirituality, journey towards God tried to hear the sweet small inner voice of their soul atman coming from within our heart.
We could hear the voice of our soul atman only when we were 100% truthful in life. Path of spirituality demands subduing our ego in totality. To live a meaningful physical manifest life ego was necessitated. To emancipate forever from cycle of birth and death… hearing voice of our soul atman was an absolute must! From six years of age the voice of my soul atman was so distinct as if someone sitting across the table was talking to me. Until I reached God 37 years of age I was 100% truthful all the time.
