For People in Satyuga Diamonds were Stones polished bright

In a Satyuga (golden period) materialistic tendencies were non-existent. Most human beings indulged in path of pure spirituality to reach God in their lifetime. None indulged in religious practices (rituals) that meant little on path of pure spirituality. All indulged in teachings of sacred texts contained in scriptures of different religions of world. The indulgence was never literal but through path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom).

On the physical front life was harmonious. Followers of different religions of world never fought with each other. Calm and peace pervaded everywhere. For people in Satyuga… diamonds were stones polished bright. Glare of worldly riches never attracted them anymore. People were happy from within. Those indulging in material pursuits of life were also contented from within. Money was only a means to an end, never an end in itself as in Kali Yuga!

Life in Satyuga was at its level best, almost as ordained by God Almighty! People lived in the moment, never caring for past or future. Ego (Aham in Hinduism) took a beating. People in Satyuga realized that present journey of life belonged to their soul atman and never the manifest physical human form.
