Both Enlightened Ones and Avatars have different Goals and Relevance in Earthly Affairs of Life

Both Mahavira and Gautama Buddha indulged in spirituality to reach cosmic end of life… stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation! As path of spirituality demands indulgence in nonviolence, working for welfare of mankind all the time, loving one and all… it was but natural that enlightened souls believed in precepts of love, peace… nonviolence. It was ingrained into their psyche.

One indulging in hatred, violence… enmity could never travel path of spirituality successfully. For an enlightened one… the whole world finally becomes one large family, becoming free from bondages of earthly life forever. For an enlightened one earthly relationships no further existed, mattered.

Enlightened ones acted as guiding pillars for mankind to indulge in spirituality, reach cosmic end of life! In absence of enlightened ones and their jnana wisdom… life would totally seem meaningless. One just could not indulge in materialistic pursuits of life all the time. We must know that there was a path following which one liberated from cycle of birth and death forever.

The most an enlightened one could do was guide others to become enlightened, reach stage of moksha salvation. Comparatively characters of Maryada Purushottam Rama and Lord Krishna were different, distinct from enlightened ones. Both Rama and Krishna are considered avatars (God manifest in human form). Their supernatural feats could never be duplicated by enlightened ones.

The primary difference between an enlightened one and an avatar lay in the fact that an avatar was a deadly combination of an enlightened one and also Chanakya (the most able administrator in the entire history of mankind). To re-establish Dharma (righteousness) coming of an avatar was ordained by God. Chanakya got 100 kings eliminated in one night to save lives of millions of countrymen, soldiers!

Coming of an avatar always facilitates start of a new era… Satyuga (the golden period)!

During times of Rama the atrocities of Rakshasas increased phenomenally causing great inconvenience to sages and Rishis of those times. To free them from evil King Dasharatha sent Rama on exile for a period of 14 years. He had two things in mind. Living in jungles (forests) Maryada Purushottam Rama would be able to practice absolute celibacy for a period of 12 years in continuation for full awakening of kundalini shakti. Furthermore he would be able to satisfactorily deal with the problem of Rakshasas.

Finally Maryada Purushottam Rama returned an enlightened one after completing his exile. Rama also successfully engaged Ravana, finally defeating him and his evil designs and getting Sita released from his clutches.

Lord Krishna precipitated battle of Mahabharata to teach the evil Kauravas a lesson and simultaneously re-establish Dharma (righteousness). Arjuna who was practically demonstrating cowardice in the battle of Mahabharata, after listening to sermon of Bhagavad Gita finally prepared self to fight the battle head-on. As per Lord Krishna bearing the torment was also a sin. As Arjuna represented the full kingdom of Pandavas, it was not unto him to practice cowardice in the face of enemy hell-bent on fighting Pandavas.

Both enlightened ones and avatars have different goals and relevance in earthly affairs of life.
