Spirituality is a precept, mind power a faculty of cosmic system. To reach God in present life our undertaking spiritual journey was mandated by God. Spiritual path can be travelled successfully when we established absolute control over five senses and mind. The mental faculty relates to mind power which is one for entire cosmos. As normally believed no individual human being ever had an independent mind. The mind of entire cosmos is one. It had two compartments, reservoir of mind plus and reservoir of mind minus. From reservoir of mind plus human beings invoked all positive thoughts and from reservoir of mind minus, all negative. Human beings only had a brain that works as a receiving and transmitting station.
We are connected to cosmic system, God Almighty through faculty of mind. In absence of mind power, we were nothing more than a skeleton, a vegetative state. In absence of thoughts, we were no better than animals. God endowed all human beings with power of discrimination that distinguished us from animals. This power of discrimination can only be exercised through faculty of mind, the mental process. As detailed in scriptures of Hinduism, to negate karma to zero, to reach stage of enlightenment our establishing absolute control over five senses and mind was an absolute must. Control over mind power simply means stopping the flow of incessant flow of thoughts to our brain in totality.
This is a tedious process but not impossible. Establishing absolute control over five senses demands time!
Spiritual path means reaching our true inner self… our soul atman, the spirit within. By undertaking spiritual journey when we become a pure soul atman, the cosmic journey of life finally comes to an end. Devoid of dross impurities within, the need for a soul atman to manifest a body any further ceases to exist. In present times none could reach God, none could realize self through path of religion (path of rituals). God can only be reached; enlightenment can only be realized by travelling path of spirituality as detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism, the sermon given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata above 3600 years before now. As per Bhagavad Gita we were primarily a spirit, the consciousness within.
Only when perceived from senses point of view of things appeared solid. In reality as per Bhagavad Gita we were just a cluster of atoms and molecules. Broken down to basic building block of cosmos, the entire cosmos was but a gaseous formation. These cosmic truths of life, the hidden absolute realities of life can only be realized by undertaking spiritual journey as detailed in Bhagavad Gita. In the past and even in present people reached stage of enlightenment following precepts of spirituality detailed in scriptures of Hinduism, never otherwise. Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed both followed path of spirituality detailed in scriptures of Hinduism to reach stage of enlightenment in their lifetime.
As per Bhagavad Gita the existence of this spirit is within our heart. Our soul atman, the consciousness within exists in our heart. Reaching God means reaching our soul atman residing in our heart! By following path of yoga meditation detailed in scriptures of Hinduism human beings finally realized their true inner self forever. Path of yoga meditation falls under spirituality, never religion. Spirituality was totally distinct from religion (path of rituals). None ever reached God by going to temples, churches or mosques. God was not the form of human beings. It all the time existed within all living beings including human beings in miniscule form as our soul atman, the consciousness within. If an individual piece of puzzle is an independent soul atman, the completed puzzle God. If an individual grain of sand is an independent soul atman, the whole mound God. The essence of souls’ atmans was not distinct from God.
