The power of human intellect was unlimited. The human brain incessantly invoked thousands of thoughts every second of life. We are all imbibed with free will, power of discrimination that distinguishes right from wrong. If our buddhi (intellect) thinks otherwise, it will immediately invoke a different thought totally different from earlier one. Everything depends upon our interest in the subject. Greater the interest, more frequent was the changing of thoughts.
Dumb human beings hardly changed their thought pattern frequently.
