Stage of spiritual enlightenment is reached by overpowering five senses and mind forever. If the free will did not exist, how could the human body sustain by itself! The existence of free will indicates presence of a spirit, consciousness in our heart. It is exercising this free will human beings chose their journey of life.
The existence of free will was beyond all bondages of physical manifest life. In every circumstance of life one could exercise free will, power of discrimination that helps us distinguish right from wrong, truth from false. In absence of this power of discrimination, we would be no better than animals!
If souls’ atmans exist, so does free will! We exist because souls’ atmans manifest a physical form.
