Absolute truth can be realized subduing our ego in totality, overpowering five senses and mind forever! Selfishness stems from a bloated ego that fundamentally stops human beings from practicing absolute truth. Absolute truth relates to spirituality. Spirituality means indulging in nishkama karma yoga, working for welfare of mankind all the time. A selfish person all the time thinks of individual self or the family, never welfare of mankind at large. The field of spirituality was not for those who were selfish.
