Purpose of Yoga Meditation Hinduism

Yoga in Hinduism stood for meditation. Yoga is derived from the root word “yog” which in Hindi means synthesis, the process of yoking. In Hindi two yog two equals four. Ever since souls’ atmans separated from their source God Almighty himself (Brahman in Hinduism) they desire yoking, regaining their lost original pure prime pristine primordial form at the earliest.

This becomes possible when human beings travelling path of spirituality reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) in their lifetime. There was never a minimum or maximum on path of yoga. Either we travelled spiritual path in present life to reach god or we did not. There was nothing midway. I know many people who started in search of god but left the journey midway only to become serious patients of depression. To travel or not to travel spiritual path in present life is our birthright, sole prerogative.

Most human beings delayed it for next manifestation. Little realizing that next journey of life belonged to our soul atman and never the present manifest physical form. We had only one life to live, the present earthly domain of 70 to 80 years. Why let go this invaluable chance?

Six years of age I started in search of God. Something within told me to know everything relating to God. Whenever I went to temples with my mother, I enquired about god. None in the temple or otherwise told me where lived god. All my queries remained within me. I was extremely perturbed on this account. Born in a Jain family, I took shelter elsewhere. I started following path of Lord Krishna. Everything relating to Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana I gobbled overnight.

13 years of age I finally decided to go in search of God once and for all. 25 years of yoga meditation I finally reached God… realized self, realized God. This is my last manifestation on mother earth. Nothing to gain more, nowhere to go further moment I leave my mortal frame I shall attain salvation moksha forever. I wanted to cut short my cosmic journey of life. By grace of God Almighty I finally succeeded. Complete dross impurities within removed forever I have become a pure soul atman.

I did not want to leave things to chance or next life. It was only my love for God that I reached him.
