Atma jnana implies self realization! Traveling path of spirituality, indulging in yoga meditation when human beings finally reached stage of enlightenment… this stage was termed Atma jnana or Brahma jnana! In spiritual context enlightenment, spiritual awakening, full kundalini awakening, stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi, Atma jnana, Brahma jnana… self realization, god realization… all mean the same!
Establishing absolute control over five senses and mind one finally negates karma to zero… reaches stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi (State of absolute nothingness) when not a single thought entered our brain uninvoked. For full kundalini awakening, and practice of absolute celibacy for 12 years in continuation was necessitated. Only then Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petalled Lotus) existing in our brain behind forehead (also called third eye) opened fully. One immediately gains enlightenment. Becomes a bodhi, a Jina… a Mahavira forever! One could also be called Atma Jnani, knower of true inner self.
