In search of spiritual truths of life many from western world flocked to Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India (about two hrs journey from my place), a city with serene surroundings, bathing ghats etc. on the bank of Ganges River. I visit this place often as Gita press is located here.
Many times I tried to survey what these foreigners were trying to locate. Their primary interest was indulgence in yogic exercises, asanas… nothing more! Indulging in depths of spirituality was not their cup of tea. Not a single enlightened soul resided in that area. Even if they tried, they would not get one.
