As detailed in Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads… life keeps evolving! Every soul atman passes through a maze of 8.4 million manifestations to reach stage of absolute purity. Of the 8.4 million manifestations by a soul atman… the initial 7.3 million manifestations occurred in insect, plant and animal life and in the remaining 1.1 million manifestations one was expected to reach stage of enlightenment and finally moksha. All human beings evolved from stage of animals.
The increase in human population means more and more animals evolving into human beings. The whole process was automatic. Karma and evolution were inherent integral ingredients of cosmic life. The moment all souls atmans in cosmos reach stage of absolute purity… life in cosmos will come to an end. The whole cosmos will end with a Pralaya (dissolution of cosmos) and restart with a big bang.
As detailed in Bhagavad Gita we were primarily a spiritual being, a cosmic consciousness on its life cycle of 8.4 million manifestations. This circle of life comes to an end when karma negates to zero forever. In absence of dross impurities within, the need for a soul atman to manifest another body ceases to exist.
