If scriptures of Buddhism say, everything was impermanent… nowhere it is spelt out that state of enlightenment, the end stage was impermanent. After 12 years of tapasya (practice of absolute celibacy) human beings finally reached stage of kaivalya jnana (stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi).

 

Once a bud becomes a flower, it could never become a bud again.

 

Once a Buddha, one remains a Buddha forever!
