For a normal human being the ultimate goal of life was dominated by ego (Aham in Hinduism). For one in search of God, for one who believes entire manifest mankind was sons and daughters of God… it was welfare of entire mankind that mattered most! Path of spirituality indulges one in path of nishkama karma yoga, one who indulges in karma with an unattached attitude, unattached to fruits of karma performed. For a true seeker, traveler of spiritual path the whole world becomes one large family.
Dominated by ego most human beings world over worked for their individual self or the family! The goal of a spiritual seeker always was emancipation from cycle of birth and death at the earliest. Working for welfare of entire mankind when a seeker indulges in spirituality, yoga meditation wholeheartedly… one finally reaches stage of enlightenment! One finally reaches the true inner self existing in our heart. Everything relating to spirituality was difficult to understand prime reason why most people world over indulged in religious practices (path of rituals).
Indulgence in nishkama karma yoga was not easily practiced. It demands highest level of patience, persistence and perseverance. Indulging in nishkama karma yoga how many people do we think succeeded in working for welfare of mankind all the time… one or two persons in a time span of 100 to 200 years. That was how God Almighty ordained spiritual journey to be.
