Journey to Self Realization

Let me be very frank and clear. I never went after self realization or god realization for I did not understand such terminology at six years or 13 years of age. I just wanted to reach god. And my principle of life was, if I had to do something for mankind then I should follow what Mahavira 24th Tirthankara of Jainism said, “Do not preach unless you become an enlightened one… a bodhi, a Jina… a Mahavira”.

If we desire doing something in a country like India, can we achieve anything in the role of a Chief Minister of Delhi? Arvind Kejriwal is a man without wings, power! A Chief Minister without police force is a mockery of political system. If I were in his place I would become the prime minister of the country to bring about a significant change in society and the perception of entire country.

But Arvind Kejriwal is a man of guts. Sooner or later he will bag the coveted post of Prime Minister of India. Same is the case with spiritual path. We need practicing truthfulness of the highest order to be able to listen to the sweet small inner voice that seems to come from within our heart. Only then we can know our passion and follow it with all eggs in one basket.

My practical advice is… Do not run after gaining self realization! Think in terms of helping mankind at large. Go after your passion, something that comes from within. At a certain stage in life God will come to your rescue. All my life I never worked after kundalini awakening. But it was only in wee hours of third of August 1993 I realized that my kundalini had opened fully absolutely unknown to me.

One has to work on the same lines. More than 3000 essays existed on my various websites. One must go through them with minute precision. We must not accept anything because Vijay Kumar says so. We must contemplate and reach the inner truth by self. If we get stuck I am always available 24 x 7. One can reach all my essays on a particular subject by typing the query followed by vijay kumar on any search engine.
