For a soul atman to reach stage of absolute purity, god mandated a journey in human form! A single journey in human form did not suffice… we were given a total of 1.1 million manifestations to reach stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation. Our soul atman keeps reincarnating new bodies again and again until it reaches 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. This is the stage when overpowering five senses and mind, our karma negates to zero forever. In absence of dross impurities within the soul atman finally reaches stage of absolute purity.
This is stage of absolute purity is termed enlightenment. Freed from cycle of birth and death, the moment an enlightened one left mortal frame… one gains moksha salvation forever!
