Dominated by ego, living in materialistic world mesmerized by glare of worldly riches what more could we think other than in terms of money. In present times money which was only a means has become an end in itself… more so in India, the so-called spiritual citadel of world! In countries like United States of America, for masses at large money was still a means to an end.
Inner peace truly had no relationship with material wealth. The definition of inner peace can only be realized by a traveler of spiritual path, never those indulging in trivial pursuits of life.
