Lord Krishna, an avatar of his era descended on mother earth in Dwapar Yuga. He came on mother earth to re-establish Dharma (righteousness) against evil forces of adharma (lawlessness).
As everything contained in scriptures was symbolic, allegorical… Lord Krishna rightly represents soul atman existing in our heart. The prime reason why Lord Krishna is always depicted as sarthi (charioteer)! In reality Lord Krishna is the sarthi (charioteer) of the human body.
If we desire emancipating from cycle of birth and death forever, then our seeking guidance from Lord Krishna was necessitated. For this very reason our indulgence in spirituality gets necessitated.
Indulging in spirituality, pranayama (breathing exercise) one finally reaches the source of all consciousness in the body… our soul atman residing in our heart as Lord Krishna. Following path of truthfulness, we can all the time hear sweet small dictates of Lord Krishna coming from within.
Guided by Lord Krishna, any human being world over can easily reach stage of enlightenment and this is exactly what Arjuna did in the battle of Mahabharata.
